Afton Boulevard Closed between Neal and Manning
The Minnesota Department of Transportation is beginning a project to construct a roundabout at the intersection of Manning Avenue (Hwy 95) and Afton Boulevard (CR18). The intersection is temporarily closed to westbound CR 18 traffic until late June to enable a bypass lane to be constructed. The bypass lane will enable westbound traffic on CR 18 to go northbound and southbound on Manning at the intersection while the roundabout is under construction. The detour route for westbound CR 18 traffic during the temporary closure is to take CR 21 (St. Croix Trail) south to 70th Street. Here is a link to the MN/DOT project page.
